Our Story

Started with a slice in Istanbul.

I'm Kaveh. My cheesecake obsession started on a trip to Istanbul — one bite and I was hooked. Then Spain. Then home to Brighton, where I couldn't find anything close. So I taught myself to bake from scratch.

Months of testing, tweaking, and feeding slices to anyone who'd be honest. Eventually, something clicked — and people kept asking for more.

Today, every BasQake is made in small batches, baked fresh to order. Based in Brighton, available London-wide at weekends. This is just the beginning.
